Arsenic contamination in drinking water of tube-well is the danger signal for our country. Out of 64 districts, in 53 districts presence of arsenic in tube well water is ensured. The district Noakhali is found under arsenic contamination. SSUS has initiated the activity through awareness raising, screening of tube-well water and mitigation with installation of dug-well and hand deep tube well under research programme.
