To ensure self-employment and to increase income, different IGAS are implemented by the target beneficiaries under SSUS. The IGAS are divided into two types– (a) Agro-based (b) Off-farm.

The agro-based IGAS are initiated for‑

• Easy for implementation
• Women participation in production
• Households level food security
• Assist to-J-educe / prevent malnutrition
• Available local market
• Income through sale after own consumption

The off-farm IGAs are initiated for

• Easy for land less
• Less risky is marketing as brand time is available for scratching market
• More Profit
• Your round production and employment
• Involvement of women is possible fully
• Sustainable employment opportunity
